June Bolneo

June Bolneo is a top remote work leader, advisor, and educator.

She majored in Communications and Marketing Management, graduating with honors from the University of San Jose Recoletos in the Philippines before moving abroad. Her passion for enabling people to work from anywhere has led her to collaborate with entrepreneurs, growing businesses, and government organisations worldwide to strategise and implement remote work initiatives locally and globally since 2012.

In Jan 2019 she founded WorkRemote, an edTech startup, to develop training solutions for companies and organisations who wants to transition to remote and have trained thousands of individuals about remote work worldwide. In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, she trained 100 Portuguese locals how to find jobs remotely. This project was supported by The Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition of EU, the Camara Municipal de Lisboa, Startup Portugal, and other local organisations. In 2021, she led the national remote work initiative funded by the Department of Trade and Industries of the Philippines and hosted a conference about remote work as well as trained more than 5000 Filipinos to find jobs online.

These days June is focused on how remote work will transform in the future. This means exploring ways of better learning in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality (VR/AR/MR) and how we can better prepare and adapt as it comes.

She is also a keynote speaker and has conducted several talks and workshops about remote work, online collaboration and managing distributed teams.
